TechBarbie’s Top 5 Gadgets and Gifts
The most magical time of the year is here again.
The kids are carefully crafting their wish lists for Santa, parents are facing the rowdy crowds at the malls, and those of us who find ourselves somewhere in between child and adult, wonder what’s left of the Christmas spirit for us this year.
As we’ve grown and changed over the years, our lists have done the same. Although Christmas morning no longer looks like toys covering the floor among the mountains of torn wrapping paper, bows, and tissue, we still deserve something to be excited about on Christmas Day. Although you might have outgrown the doll who walks and talks or the electric race car sets, technology and its many applications are still a huge part of our lives today. This list showcases what pieces of technology I think you or someone you care about will love to find under the tree.
The Perfect Wish List with My Special TechBarbie Touch
I hope this list inspires you to find the perfect gift and gadget for someone you love this year.
1. A Super Speed Charge
Buying a fast-speed charger was one of the best purchases I’ve made for my iPhone. Say goodbye to waiting hours for your phone to hit a 100% charge. With this charger, mine will usually hit full charge within 20 to 30 minutes! I don’t even have to worry about leaving it on the charger overnight because I know I’ll get the charge I need in the time it takes me to get ready for work. I purchased mine at the Verizon store when I got my iPhone and splurged a little to get the fast-charging one, but it was totally worth it. Thankfully, Amazon has a great fast-speed charger for an even greater price!
2. The Apple Air Tag
Are you or anyone you know planning on taking a trip somewhere in the new year? If so, this is the perfect gift to toss in your suitcase! Anyone who’s ever lost their bag when flying knows the struggle and anxiety you get not knowing where your bag may have ended up. Pop the apple air Tag in your suitcase and you’ll be able to track your bag’s whereabouts right from your iPhone. If you’re a person who’s always misplacing your keys, this is a great fix for that too!

3. Wireless Earbuds
If it isn’t clear yet that I’m an Apple user, this should settle that. When I was in school and even to this day, I hate going anywhere without my air pods. They’re easily portable and satisfy my need to always have music soundtrack my life. If you’re not an Apple user, there are many alternatives, but I recommend the BLXBuds. They’re lightweight like the air pods, but with a lower price, an arguably better battery life, noise cancellation ability, and are designed for comfortable wear. But act fast because they sell out fast!

4. A Stylus Pen
The stylus pen is the perfect way to get that hands-on feeling when using your technology. For the student, it’s an innovative way to take notes on your tablet. You can say goodbye to working out math problems with old-fashioned pencil and paper. The stylus allows you to work it out right on the screen. For the artist, it’s a great way to show off your ideas by creating visuals that can be easily saved to the tablet for future use. The best part of this particular stylus is that it’s compatible with both Apple and Android tablets!
5. A Projector
Can’t find the right spot to put your TV? Not ready to shell out the money for a new TV? Wanting the freedom
to enjoy your favorite TV shows and movies when away from your TV? A projector makes the perfect gift for you. Some old friends of mine opted to purchase a projector and a screen as opposed to a TV for their college apartment. Some of my favorite memories involve sitting around the projector, watching shows and movies on a larger scale than most TV’s I’ve seen! This projector even comes with a 100” screen and is highly compatible with any and all devices.
What makes the perfect gift is something you may be hesitant to buy yourself but would love to own regardless. Not a necessity but a luxury that’ll make you feel like a kid again on Christmas morning.
I would even argue that fun and useful technical gadgets like these are toys for adults!
I hope this list will help you get started on finding the perfect Christmas gift for kids from 1 to 92!
