Women in Tech:  Lisa Jakob’s Journey

Lisa Jakob may not have started in tech, but her remarkable ability to connect with people and solve problems has led her to an exciting new chapter at Klik Solutions. With a background steeped in the restaurant industry—where she thrived as a general manager and even part owner of a café—Lisa built her expertise in customer service, training, and human resources long before stepping into the tech realm. It was through a chance connection with our very own Neil Konstantoulas, sparked by her husband and a mutual need for IT support, that Lisa found her way to Klik Solutions. Her versatility and fresh perspective have already started making a positive impact.

Now, serving as the Business Operations Manager at Klik, Lisa’s role is as dynamic as her career path. Working closely with the Director of Operations, she juggles responsibilities in HR and finance while always being ready to take on any challenge that comes her way. 

“When I joined Klik, I saw how many systems can be integrated to streamline processes. I realized I had been missing out on this synergy all along,” she says with a blend of humor and excitement. And when it comes to staying updated with the ever-evolving tech landscape, Lisa credits her own household—filled with IT-savvy family members and lively debates over games like Call of Duty—as well as the wealth of expertise available at Klik.

Throughout her career, Lisa has taken pride in the risks she’s embraced and the failures that have taught her valuable lessons. Whether it was renovating a café to create a space where individuals on the autistic spectrum could thrive or helping an electrical engineering company build a more structured and supportive organization, her commitment to making a difference shines through. It’s this drive—an open mind, active listening, and a genuine passion for helping others—that underpins every project she touches.

Looking ahead, Lisa is eagerly collaborating with Klik’s Executive Team on new initiatives and career development projects that promise to bring even more innovation to the company.
